The 2017 Fête de la Musique in Monaco is hosting one of the biggest bands known to France. DELUXE will be playing a free open air concert at the famous Hercules Port in Monaco for one night on Wednesday 21st June at 9pm. The band is known for its lively and inventive performances using many different musical instruments and combining them in melodious new ways.
DELUXE have sold more than 200 dates in France and abroad and they have performed at countless music festivals such as the Francofolies, the Spring of Bourges, Dour, Garorock, Solidays and Montreux Jazz.
Their music draws inspiration from the great masters of hip hop, jazz and funk with a creative twist. All of their performances are carefully crafted to the venue and audience and they even serve a unique cocktail at each concert. Playing songs from their new album ‘Stachelight’ and also collaborating with Matthieu Chedid, IAM and Nneka, the DELUXE event promises to be a memorable and exciting musical experience.
The Lyonnais band Big Junior will open the night with their blend of rock and hip hop that they’ve personally coined ‘hip wave’. Their unique pairing of the two bands is the perfect way to celebrate the Fête de la Musique in the heart of Monaco and it’s surely not a concert to be missed! Free entry to all!
