The legendary English hard-rock band Deep Purple play one last time in Monaco in the illustrious Salle des Étoiles as the opening act to the Monte Carlo Summer Sporting Festival. Deep Purple have been likened to Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath, and are known as true pioneers of heavy metal and hard rock since their formation in 1968.
Almost forty years later, the band bids their fans farewell after releasing their twentieth and final album on 7th April this year. Deep Purple have been ranked fifth among the most influential bands of all time in a poll conducted by the British radio station Planet Rock, they broke the Guinness World Record for the world’s loudest band whilst performing, and they have sold more than a hundred and twenty million records. Deep Purple have become the reference for their genre.
Expect to hear all their old classics, but also songs from their new album ‘InFinite’: this concert is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the band perform for one of the very last times. They will play alongside another rock band ‘Pretenders’ and Johnny Gallagher for an unforgettable night on 28th June. Tickets are priced at €103.50, correct attire is required and doors open at 7.30pm.
