If you’ve passed through either terminal at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport in the last year, you’ll have seen that plenty is going on in terms of new shops, restaurants and facilities. Now the airport has opened six tenders for pop-up boutiques and you have until the beginning of December to apply!
The airport is France’s second busiest international air hub and welcomed 12.4 million passengers in 2016 (65% of them international). With the average shopping basket coming in at 149€ over both terminals, the airport certainly has some credibility as a worthy site for an interesting pop-up.
Of the six slots available, the airport is hoping to attract candidates from the following sectors: gourmet (Food & Beverage), retail and services. Those chosen will have a stand for 12 months either airside or landside in its 3 terminals for 2018.
Bidders have until 8th December to submit their dossier, which must include a company presentation, description of the concept and retail offer, a technical file for the layout of the store and a sales forecast.
